Letter from Ron Cheney, Board Chair

Thank you for visiting the Longmont United Hospital Foundation's website. Here you will find all the information you need to understand our history, our mission, and our goals for the continued success of The Longmont United Hospital.

Our Foundation is operated by a Board of caring individuals and community leaders who share the vision for the continued success of our hometown hospital, and the health and well-being of the people in our community. As the Chairman of the Foundation, I am delighted to lead this dedicated group.

The Longmont United Hospital is approaching its 60th birthday. I'm proud to say that for nearly 40 of those years the LUH Foundation has been their partner. Since 1981 the Foundation has raised millions of dollars to help our hospital expand to meet the needs of our growing population. That money has been used to help purchase property, build more facilities, purchase the best medical equipment, and to provide scholarships for education and training.

We are able to do this because people like you care enough to give back to our community. Through donations and bequests we can continue to have the best health care possible in northern Colorado.

As you look through the pages of this website, I encourage you to learn more about what we do, and learn how you can help. Tax-deductible contributions to the Longmont United Hospital Foundation will help us meet our goals, and I urge you to consider making a gift today. Or, even better, adding the Longmont United Hospital Foundation to your estate planning. Your gift will help for generations to come.

Please contact me personally for more information.

Sincerely,

Ronald R. Cheyney, Chairman
